Chairperson's Message

The 12th International Conference on Concentrator Photovoltaic Systems, held in April 2016 in Freiburg, Germany, gathered scientists, engineers and policy makers to discuss the progress in the technology, market and financing aspects of CPV.  A record value for module efficiencies higher than 43% was presented. Field experiences showed that the technology is highly reliable and excellent performances have been reported.

I am honoured to have been chosen as chair of CPV-13, which will be held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, from May 1 to 3, 2017.
